1 Pre-course Evaluation & Introduction of students and Course Faculty 30min The participants are given printed baseline knowledge and confidence assessment forms after completion the participants and faculties are formally introduce each other.
2 ABCDE by Ultrasound: Empowering Emergency care 15min This topic gives an overview the role of point ultrasonography in various aspects of trauma resuscitation.
3 BASICS OF ULTRASOUND: 30min Objective of this topic is to give the participant the Basic physics of ultrasound, handling the machine, different buttons/knobs, probe orientation, Imaging modes, gain & depth setting, ultrasound artifacts and optimization recording and reporting of image,
4 Airway Ultrasound: 30min Objective of this topic is to teach ultrasound anatomy of airway, Ultrasound assessment of ET-tube size, Airway confirmation, pre tracheostomy evaluation of neck, USG guided Procedures- Needle cricothyroidotomy,Tracheostomy all the topics will be having video representation.
5 Lung Ultrasound: 45min Objective of this topic is to teach Method of doing lung ultrasound, Ultrasound lung signs, detection of pneumothorax, Pleural effusion, Pneumonia, Pulmonary edema, ARDS, Pulmonary embolism, atelectasis.All the topics will be having video representation.
6 US Hands-On & Simulation:Knobology, Airway, Breathing 60min The participants will be provided ultrasound machine and healthy volunteer model to have hands-on practice
7 RUSH Protocol; The Pump Point of care cardiac ultrasound& IVC assessment: 30min Objective of this topic is to teach 4 windows of Echocardiography, diagnosis of pericardial effusion/ tamponade, Ejection fraction, Right ventricular strain. All the topics will be having normal and pathological video representation.
8 RUSH Protocol; The Tank- E-FAST 30min The lecture emphasizes on four windows of FAST (subxiphoid, right upper quadrant, left upper quadrant and supra-pubic view), all the topics will be having normal and pathological video representation.
9 US Hands-On & Simulation: Focused ECHO & FAST 60min The participants will be provided ultrasound machine and healthy volunteer model to have hands-on practice.
10 RUSH Protocol; The pipes 30min The lecture emphasizes on method of Abdominal Aorta ultrasound,Aortic diameter measurement and detection of Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). Video demonstration
11 RUSH Protocol; The pipes- DVT Scan 30min The lecture emphasizes on method of peripheral venous assessment with Video demonstration of deep vein thrombosis.
12 US Hands-On & Simulation:Aorta, IVC& DVT Scan 60min The participants will be provided ultrasound machine and healthy volunteer model to have hands-on practice.
13 Disability Assessment: 30min Ultrasound assessment of pupillary size and reaction, Detection of scalp fracture, Optic nerve seath diameter and its use for assessment of raised intra-cranial pressure.
14 Musculoskeletal Ultrasound: 30 min To assess musculoskeletal system. Ultrasound detection of fracture, Ocular injury &cellulitis, Abcess

1 Review, Q/A and debriefing: 15min
2 Vascular Access: 30 min This topic discuss in detail the ultrasound anatomy of Internal Jugular and femoral vein. Ultrasound needle tracking and putting vascular catheters with the help of Ultrasound along with video demonstration of the same
3 Gall Bladder & Kidneys: 30 min This topic discuss in detail the ultrasound anatomy of gall bladder and kidneys with video demonstration of pathological conditions of both gall bladder & Kidneys.
4 US Hands-On & Simulation:Vascular Access, Gall Bladder and Kidneys 60 min The participants will be provided ultrasound machine and healthy volunteer model to have hands-on practice.
5 Post-course Evaluation: 120 min The participants are given printed answer sheets for knowledge assessment done through power point questions (videos and pictures) and confidence assessment.
6 Ultrasound guided CPR: 45 min Objective of this topic is to discuss potential use of ultrasound during CPR especially in pseudo PEA conditions.
