The Cadaveric Advance ultrasound in Perioperative and Regional Anaesthesia ( C – AUPRA 2019) is a collaborative effort by British Anaesthesia Pain Academy (BAPA) U.K & International Council for Critical Emergency Sonography, AIIMS, New Delhi, India. Both BAPA & ICCES have been in the forefront of specialized learning programs. It is the only conference in South-East Asia with real-time performance of ultrasound guided nerve blocks in Theil soft embalmed cadavers.In February 2018, they had collaborated for the first time to organised the AURA2018 course which was very well received by delegates from India and abroad.
Course is designed for regional anaesthesia practitioners. The Course would include didactic lectures with master class on sonoanatomy, tour of anatomy dissection hall with experts teaching the relevant anatomy of various nerve plexuses, detailed scanning on volunteers with low instructor to participant ratio and live nerve blocks on theil soft cadavers. The workshop is approved towards European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia (EDRA) part 1 & 2.
